When did they start losing them? Or when did it just become more socially acceptable to have no morals? Because if it's the latter it probably began with the counterculture of the 60's.
Well, I think the Hippies of the 60's just wanted to promote peace and not war. I don't think that was a bad thing. Nowadays, even if the intentions are bad looking at it deeply, it doesn't matter! As long as it's popular or people like it!

Hippies are only one aspect of the 60's. Drugs and acts of violence do not promote peace. You asked when I thought it began so I'm telling you. This was my point, each successive generation has become less as a whole with personal responsibility. There was a time when we looked up to doctors as something to aspire to. Now society looks up to YouTube stars. You don't have to be successful person, just successful, to have a following, to have influence. We don't worship success as a society anymore, we worship money and fame. Fewer and fewer people have personal honor. That was my point. I believe that movement BEGAN in the 60's. That's what I was saying.
Good point. I'm scared because I am losing hope for humanity day by day, decade by decade ugh..

Well I wouldn't get too worried. Society has always risen and fallen since the dawn of society. Ecclesiastes 1:9 "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again. There is nothing new under the sun. Just be a good decent person, and if you have kids teach them right. This problem will eventually correct.
What rock are you living in? Lol. Go to any news webpage or youtube news and see if you still feel the same. Ever been cyberbullied or harassed online before? Plenty of times for me and without a good reason too!
People, especially children, have been bullied forever. Today at least they are less likely to be bullied by the adults in charge. In that way things are much better -- bullying behavior by school authorities is no longer generally acceptable. Overt racism, antisemitism, homophobia is no longer acceptable in polite society. There is much less violence in the world in general.
Well the Aghanistan war happend very recently and there's some turmoil going on in Iran I believe as well as the Ukraine. My dad said back then, conservatives and liberals didn't fight so much, they were more matured about their differences? I mean I don't know, I've just seen like Women STILL not having that many rights in some Middle Eastern Countries. I even recall in the news, a person dowsing their spouse with gasoline or acid because of domestic violence, it was crazy! Sometimes they're still considered second class too. I hope that's improved though. Maybe that's a rare case, not the norm. I hope!
By the way, don't forget about sex trafficking, the drug wars in South America and Fentanyl stuff. The homeless crisis , etc.
But it's all a big mess and I don't know if there's any one single answer to this really. Nor do ordinary people really have the power to stop it? I really don't know! 🤷🏻♀️

the illusion is that people think things have changed. they haven't. people are still imperfect assholes.
Nostalgia and selectively idealizing the past is something people have always done.
there have always been good, there has always been bad, and there have always been people

❤👍 Thanks. I hope so! 🙂
At the same time they lost common sense I think somehow must have run out at the store or school stopped
When America and Capitalism kicked in.
depravity is becoming more acceptable. I can't get that movie ''Bones and All'' outta my mind... what in the hell?
Even did they ever have good morals? All humans are sinners by nature.
*when
People are the same as ever, and their morals are no worse. The world has gotten more prosperous and less violent.

When?
When the internet happened.
Sexual revolution and women's suffrage.
In the last decade
long time ago...
in a galaxy far, far away
So basically, yes
Guess you failed to notice the lack of minorities.
