We will have a country of zombies if this happens. I bet the pharmaceutical industry is paying off Biden and the democrats to do this. Imagine a whole country of junkies.
When I have to go downtown, I have to carry a gun, because of the zombies. Pot is legal, and sold in fancy stores. I even bought some gummy bears. One Indica gummy, and I sleep like a baby. But all the other crap has to go. Libertarians preach that people have the right to do what they want with their own bodies. True, but when the zombies kick in your front door and go after your family, they have to be put down. And then YOU'RE the one going to prison. California gives out free heroin, and how did that work out? More zombies. And I heard that many cities are doing this. And most people don't know this, but prisons are dishing out synthetic heroin to prisoners. You are paying for it, and big pharma is getting fat, just like they are from the Covid scam.
Our prisions are bursting at this rate we will have to wall up detriot, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago make them prision cities. I dont like the idea of me the taxpayer paying to house and feed millions of people for the crime of doing drugs.
@Gummy_Cluster all still has to be paid for by the taxpayer and there's an abundance of drugs in prison. They go in for taking drugs and come out career criminals. Prision is like college for a lot of kids where they get their real education.
I'm not talking about the costs. I'm talking about zombies with machetes downtown and home invasions. I took a video downtown of a tweaker trying to put two oranges in two backpacks. It took him at least 20 minutes. I realize you don't want to pay to put zombies in prison, but I don't want them roaming the streets.
@Gummy_Cluster I've had to deal with them myself. All have been in jail multiple times and can't get jobs. It's clear what we are doing isn't working and it's only going to get worse.
@Leopard23 I work in a prison work release, and almost all get jobs. Murderers get jobs. But a job won't get you off of meth. And many don't want out of prison, because they know they can't handle the real world. Few people can comprehend that, but it's true. Prison is their home. I've seen both men and women fuck up on purpose, just so they can go back to prison. I know a young woman who just packed her suitcase and left. I followed her outside and tried to talk her out of it, but she didn't want to talk. I just went back inside and began the escape procedure, which is a huge pain in the ass. I spent all night doing all the government paperwork, and making the calls. She was arrested, sent to jail, then went to trial and got another 7 years on your dime. I actually told her and many other girls, to just come and get a pass to go to Walmart, and never come back. Failure to return only buys you 3 more years. But this girl who just walked out, bought herself 7 more years for escape. Around 95% of people in prison are there for drug-related reasons. But keep blaming the system that allows drugs. I know a woman who cooked her baby in an oven, and she's out on the streets. I know a guy who shook a baby to the point he's wheelchair-bound for life. I can't talk about this bleeding heart crap. Good bye.
@Gummy_Cluster Kids do not have the maturity or the experience to deal with dope. They just see all the show biz people using it so they think it must be okay. If you ask the county sheriffs that run the jails they will tell you that 90% of the people locked up for drug offences started with pot. I know that there are lots of people that like it and thing it is harmless and just a plant like a cucumber. I just know that in my whole life I never saw it do anyone any good.
It doesn't do a thing for me other than help me sleep, so I'm not going to worry about it. As for hard drugs, start killing the dealers instead of giving them a slap on the wrist. Perhaps close our Southern border. Two Mexican guys were caught bringing in enough fentanyl to kill about 5 million people. The judge let them go, because he didn't think they were a flight risk. lol My cousin had to go to Singapore for work, and he said that before the plane lands, they come around and collect everyone's chewing gum. It's because if you spit a piece of gum out and get caught, you're in deep shit. We need to be more like them.
That's why when people on this site and other sites ask about China nuking us, I just laugh. I tell them that nukes cost too much. I don't know why the fuck that balloon was here, but even my brother's dogs have gps on their dog colors. Are people actually dumb enough to think that China didn't know where their giant balloon was? And why did it take a week to shoot it down?
I believe so, but to a certain extent. As others have said, it needs to be monitored closely. But decriminalisation of "certain" drugs, will take away the need to criminalise them so much.

@exitseven Last I knew, Canada wasn't part of the US. Maybe you're referring to PM Justin Trudeau?
@AviatorTom Once Canada does it, it i only a matter of time before they try to do it in the US too. It is a potential nightmare created by liberals.

Tent city prisons are cheaper than the catch and release system.

@Gummy_Cluster seen it all. Worked as a guard for a year after the army.

It's not worse than Jim Beam.
@Gummy_Cluster that might be true but we did not have all these other drugs in the extent we do now before pot was advertised as being just a plant.

@Gummy_Cluster enough fenyanyl was seized at the southern border in 2022 to kill every person in the United States.

It doesn't matter, a government has no business telling us what we can or cannot put in our own bodies
Portugal has decriminized all drugs in 2000 and was really succesfull with it.
Crimerate, deaths by overdose, HIV and Hepatitis infections all fallen down below the EU Avarage.
This will free up law enforcement and court to do more useful things. It has worked well in California with marijuana.
Sad to read this
@Rosexøxø Drugs are a medical problem. Arresting people for drugs is just stupid and never helps.
How could we get them help, otherwise? Your suggestion?
It’s the very physicians who prescribe them such strong chemicals
@Rosexøxø Do you really think that arresting them gets them help?
No and I was genuinely asking for your creative alternative.
Is that not what we do? We talk about this stuff.
It’s real
@Rosexøxø Legalize all of it and stop the arrrests
You said arresting never helps, you believe they will be drug-free people, only by the legalization of it?
@Rosexøxø They don't need to be drug-free.
You’re saying, you’re for/ support them being mentally absent from reality and their conscience?
@Rosexøxø You assume that you understand the effects of drugs on reality perception and conscience. You don't.
Oh you suggest I take them? Find out?
How very concerning if you.
Does this also mean you’re a drug addict yourself?
@Rosexøxø no it means don't talk about things you have no education about
I believe so, but to a certain extent. As others have said, it needs to be monitored closely. But decriminalisation of "certain" drugs, will take away the need to criminalise them so much.
Lol no I don't wanna see more zombies around me
Cigarettes are legal and killing people everyday. Weed and other drugs are illegal and still find their ways to the users.
Im saying that either way, there's no hope for the human race.
You make a good point, but I believe there is not hope, but plenty of opportunity and mathematical probability.
It's actually better to let people have free use to drugs and alcohol as long as it doesn't destroy public Peace
It's worked to some degree in Portugal and Switzerland it will be interesting to see if it's effective in Canada
It’s proven to, yes.
