Is it okay for a man to fight a woman?

I’ve been seeing a lot of guys saying

”equal rights, equal fights”

which I don’t understand how’s it’s “equal” when men are physically stronger than women. (I mean I’m sure there are girls that are physically stronger than some men but the average man and average woman the man is stronger)

But what do you think?

I was told by my own mother that "you can only hit a woman when she's not acting like a lady". I internalized that to mean a man can only strike a women in self defense. I myself do not and have never struck a woman out of anger. I disagree with the notion of "home corrections" but I would also strongly advise against women striking men in anger; getting assaulted by a woman as a man is incredibly demeaning, since he cannot defend himself in the courts of social opinion.

Again, I'm not advocating or supporting domestic violence. But i do think that if a woman is repeatedly striking a man while verbally assaulting him, I wouldn't be surprised if he used violence to stop it and I would not defend her in that situation.

Roughly the idea is that if a woman hits a man, then hitting back is fair game. For me, a light slap on the shoulder or something doesn't really rise to this. But I have seen women really push that boundary. Like straight up face slaps, drawing bloody lips and looking dead in the eye daring them to strike back. That's not okay. If your relationship reaches that point, call it quits. Now if its just some random person I don't know at all, I would have no idea how far they are willing to go, so I would just end the conflict as soon as possible.

Sure, but who started it matters more to the police. If a woman is attacking a man, he has a right to defend himself. He also has a legal obligation to not over do it. This also applies when fighting other men.

One has to use only the minimal force necessary to stop the altercation. This does not mean a woman can hit a guy first and he can break a bunch of bones and beat her into a bloody mess.

Same goes though if fighting against anyone, use too much force in defending yourself and it is considered excessive.

Then there is also gun fights, in those woman can be equal to men.

If a small man picks a fight with and punches a man who is much larger than him, what do you think should happen? Most people would agree the small guy would deserve to get his ass kicked.

Women who hit men are no different. If a woman is dumb enough to hit a man, she deserves to get her ass kicked as well.

In fact, we men owe it to ourselves to do exactly that to reset the lasting expectation that "men should never hit a woman". A lot of women still believe they can get away with it simply because they are women. That needs to end, and the only way that will happen is if men start hitting them back.

A "Right" is a law that applies to everyone unless stated otherwise. Since there are no filters / exceptions in this law, it is totally acceptable for men to hit women and vise versa. Doesn't matter how different our bodies look. I got attacked by a girl once. I took her down just like she deserved to be taken down. I have the right to defend myself just like she does. Since attacked me first, I am the victim and have the right to defend myself. Simple as that.

If she wants to act like a man then why not. Women want equality, but only in things that benefit them. Many of them cry about the patriarchy. The very patriarchy that built society today. If a girl doesn't want to get hit back, she shouldn't hit a guy first. They know they're not stronger and take advantage of the fact that a lot of guys won't hit back. Guys are not putting up with that anymore.
