have seen a lot of arguments lately online about whether or not it’s homophobic, and i can’t really comment, as i’m a cishet girl and it’s not really my place. i think , though, that it’s okay if a gnc man wants to label himself that way but it shouldn’t be used about others without their consent.

No, we should not. In a world of greater awareness for sexual diversity this term is not useful as it explains nothing specific.

Also, the type specimen for "metrosexual" was David Beckham. However, since he has four kids with Posh Spice his private life is too straightforward to support the mysterious aura his management wanted to create earlier.

I say yes but from the standpoint of let someone give themselves that label. Not for me to say that someone is or isn't something. But if they want to identify as that then sure.

Didn't realize that was taken away. I thought it was still being used by men. I also don't mind if a man identifies themselves as that. I just don't think I would date a metrosexual.
