What’s It Like Being Average Looking Or Unattractive? Is Life Really So Different From Conventionally Attractive People?

Like with dating or interacting with random people? Just life? I’m not trying to be funny at all this is a serious question. A lot of you act like your worlds are so different. I can see how being unattractive would be to certain extent but that’s really hard to say, looks are very subjective. It’s weird because there’s a lot of attractive men and women but a lot of average ones too

yea its actually really well scientifically documented that how you look really has a hugeee effect in how you're treated and your chances in life and everything. ever heard of the halo effect? like the better looking you are the better your treated and the uglier you look the worse you're treated

i used to be fat a while back and how people treated me then is very different from now like really different. people weren't mean or anything but its just not the same

There are def. differences, this can be awkward to talk about bc to say anything on this topic you have to categorize yourself and others as attractive or unattractive. But honestly yes it is a factor in how people are treated in similar situations. It takes a while to realize this bc each person mostly has one perspective or the other not both. So for years I would be like "what do you mean, he's really nice" "I'm surprised you thought they were an unfriendly group, I thought they were v. friendly" "I'm surprised you think she's nice, I think she's bitchy" repeat that pretty often, dozens of times or maybe a hundred times you eventually see the pattern. However there are exceptions so you can't base your opinion on any one situation, this is a general observation over time. My fiance says we live in different worlds because people react to us so differently when we aren't together. I know that's a different thing (male-female) but I think it is kind of like a different world for each person. JMO!

First of all I don't put myself in any type of League

And those people that do I don't hang around with them because they're so snobby and there's no difference between me and them except for they like to have that title

And 9 out of 10 of those people are ugly on the inside so I would rather not be around them anyway

They can be in the League of Their own because normal people like me we're better off without them because they're the ones that follow societies rules about being beautiful with makeup carbondo fake boobs fake butt fake hair fake everything you guys can keep your leg I want just a regular girl the Girl next door who has morals values and ethics has a good heart as common sense is smart and is happy and knows what life is all about and is not better than anybody else she just herself

Being average and being attractive are much the same really. You’d probably still talk to the same people, have the same success on dates, success in life etc.

Being conventionally attractive means that people are nicer even when i make a mistake they laugh it off like its something silly. but if another person makes the same mistake they get insulted.

so I don't have female friends. Guys are nicer in general but i think thats how most guys are with girls no matter looks. but since I'm conventionally attractive male friends will often flirt and want more than friendship too.

Physical attraction is a good thing as well but I have dated hotties and if they have no personality nor have nothing in common I won't waste my time nor theirs. There has to be some sort of happy medium but that's just me. Everyone is different
