I read in a book written by a psychologist that "men need women a lot more then women need men". That life long single women tend to be just as well adjusted and live as long as married women. Life long bachelors live the shortest lives and tend to be maladjusted and unhappy.

I can see where women may think they have it harder because they wait to be approached by men while ugly men can at least approach women. But the only thing stopping the women from approaching men is their own inhibitions. It's 2023 for goodness sakes, not 1955.

Being an overweight, mostly bald man myself, I would say life is harder for ugly men.

It’s a toss up but I’d probably lean toward ugly women because most men are ugly anyway. So by getting in shape, getting built and being successful they still have a chance.

I used to think both but considering that for women their attractiveness is literally their only value (the men have decided this) then being ugly is worse for them than it is for men
