Do you feel that there should be some sort of licensing process for having children - sooo soo many children suffer because of useless parents?

Rates of child abuse and neglect are 5 times higher for children in families with low socioeconomic status > https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/childabuseandneglect/fastfact.html

More than 600,000 children are abused in the U. S each year. CACs investigated 247,543 cases involving sexual abuse allegations in 2022. Three-fourths (76%) of victims are neglected > https://www.nationalchildrensalliance.org/media-room/national-statistics-on-child-abuse/

The United States has one of the worst records among industrialized nations – losing on average 5 children every day to child abuse and neglect. Substance abuse and child maltreatment are tragically and undeniably linked. https://www.childhelp.org/child-abuse-statistics/

4 million child maltreatment referral reports received in 2021. Child abuse reports involved 7.2 million children. 90.6% of victims are maltreated by one or both parents. 446,838 victims (76%) are neglected. https://americanspcc.org/child-maltreatment-statistics/

These statistics are ALL within the USA alone.
So multiple that by thousands to hundreds of thousands to millions for the world.

And then consider the 18% & 36% of people who grow up in these households ARE prone to criminal activity. So essentially stop the abuse before it even starts by making it required to be licensed to have children and you'd drop crime by 18 to 36% across America

By licensing I mean that there would be a required training and educational program no different than if you were getting licensed for your driver's license, a boating license, a gun license. If you don't know how such licenses work then you must be living under a rock
