What do you think? Can we remain at the top without causing wars?

So we the United States are responsible for about 90% or more for the wars that death to innocent people around the globe, portraying ourselves as the "heroes" while controlling the mass media using propaganda to feed our own people the narrative that is convenient for us to believe and controlling who the Masses support.

All who go out of their way to research MORE than what is fed to us eventually finds out this is in fact true.

The question IS however:

upon realizing this...

Do you believe that if we don't bomb other places and CAUSE wars all around the globe, (Ukraine, Israel, Iraq to name just a few) that if it's not US causing those wars making innocent people die, that instead WE would be the ones getting bombed? WE would be the innocents dying? Because if it's not us then it's someone else who would do this to us and others? and THAT is how we stay at the top by killing others and causing wars everywhere is how we remain untouched from wars?

OR

Do you believe that we can stop causing wars all over the world and stop making innocent people die and STILL remain at the top?

What's do you personally think?
Do you believe we can have peace and still be a super power at the very top?

If we don't do it, someone else will so even when it's wrong and sad that innocent people are dying, I'm still supporting those wars because it's not me or my family, not my country , if we don't do it they will do it to us.

I believe we can still stay at the top without having to cause wars all over the globe making innocent people die.

I'm from another country and even though it's sad so many are dying, if usa doesn't do it then another country would become the super power and would be doing exactly what usa is doing so if usa wants to stay at the top it has to keep causing wars elsewhere or will come home.

Having your nukes alone is enough of a deterrent even if you cut your army to a tenth of what it is and stopped all aggression..
The reason you don't could be fear. It could be a number of things.

The reason appears to be money. USA sells a lot of weapons and brokers a lot of deals with warring areas. While the money seldom reaches civilian hands it is a profitable endeavour for the Companies, yes companies, involved.

So its more of a... why doesn't amazon pay higher wages? Why doesn't US prevent wars? They like money. We can argue income is just how to maintain the army and that would be fair, but the U. S has no real threats. No one wants the surface area blown up like some Fallout game.

This is exactly what I was trying to tell the people who were arguing with me but only for them to reply that the top people having money IS the reason they are at the Top, therefore if they didn't continue this and had less money then someone else (another country) would and thus making THEM the higher power doing what we do to others today. and then laugh at me as if I'm the ignorant one..

I don't believe it's needed but in a real life argument with about 20 people, all were against me, not even 1 person agreed with me and I felt at a loss even when I kept my mind set on what I believe, I just had to leave because they were all attacking me... so it feels to them that they are correct and I'm wrong because they all have the same mentality.

I feel almost all Americans think the same and I'm the outcast of them who does not fall in the same mindset.

The USA is only involved in most all of the wars our western media chooses to talk about. But there has always been war going on somewhere. War is a common feature of history so common that rulers were often expected to be constantly at war with someone.

What our modern politicians post- World War 2 have been trying to do is act like a global police force at the expense of the America people. They do this because it gives them control of the world (which is what they ran for office to have), and/or they beleive if they didn't more or larger conflicts wold take place,

Personally i think we are net looser most of the time as we refuse to take anything of real value, while spending enormous amounts of blood and treasure. Not only in the initial conflict but to secure those borders thereafter.

The USA needs to create enemies. It doesn't want peace. War is profitable. And the psychopaths in charge of U. S. foreign policy are obsessed with dominating the world's resources, even it that means killing millions and driving billions into poverty.

This is exactly what I was saying, but people here (in my real world) don't agree. They all think if it's not us doing this even if it's so horrible and they do understand that it's us causing the majority of wars around the world, they firmly believe that someone else would be doing it to us if it's not us always in control. and because I don't have kids they try to throw that in my face that BECAUSE THEY HAVE KIDS, they rather have OTHER kids from OTHER countries dying instead of THEIR KIDS because if it's not others it would be us here being bombed.

It is precisely BECAUSE I saw so many dead kids and some half dead that I became so involved in this only to find out it's always us causing all these wars where innocents die daily and it's majority children in this particular point in time. I believe if I had kids I would even be MORE if not the same as concerned because I believe if it's them today, it could be us tomorrow BECAUSE we are causing this, someone will eventually get us back some day...

but they response is, well we won't be alive by then so we don't GAF.

it's so disgusting to me how all of them don't care, and why do I care, I didn't choose to care, I simply saw death and see it's unnecessary but they don't agree. It's so sad, and it feels horrible when nobody is on your side at all when I'm trying to argue my point and they all think I'm stupid and they are right because they all agree with each other.

but I do believe everyone already DOES fear USA even without killing anyone, so why do we HAVE to cause wars, this is the part that I'm trying to reason with, is it NECESSARY when fear is already there, do we really HAVE to go have all these innocent people being bombed? Who would even dare bomb us when we have nuclear weapons and we are the ONLY country who has actually USED THEM, I think that says it all, what need is there to continue causing death all over the globe? This only makes the top people richer, not anyone else , but then there's the bunch of people who want to argue that it is precisely them at the top being richer that keeps the country at the top, but is that really FACT?

If you want a longer explanation is because the world is corrupt by evil, the US has shown the most signs of wickedness and the country thrives off the 7 deadly sins, these are known as the 7 deadly sins because these are the core to the rest of the sins you have pride, greed, sloth, gluttony, wrath, envy and lust, the causes of wars fall into greed, greed for power and greed for money, if this country put all the time and money they used to enslave other countries to the US dollar and instead chose to make other sources of income, the country would be wealthy and no blood needs to be shed but instead they let greed take over and made rash decisions of this greed which is possible pride might be a part of it as well, you can think of society and compare it to these 7 sins and it's all there, any bad choice anyone makes comes from these self destructive sins and if used specifically it just as easily can be destructive to others.
