Recent - very stupid "argument/discussion".
A short was portraying two customers at a cafe one did a complicated and detailed order stating exact what she wanted and pumps of this syrups of this and flavours of this etc and the other one ordered just tea please.
People were hating on the second one and appreciated the first one. All I said was I've been to various places along with different friends and family members, and we've always - if having tea, ordered a cup of tea. That not once in my entire life have I heard anyone ordering - can I have a cup of English breakfast tea please.
Boom arguments ensured, it's people like me that's the problem with the world 🙄, I'm a barista and I just make whatever if I hear that and then people often get annoyed with me and so on and so on. But even when I say a lot of times menus I see simply state tea, chamomile tea, green tea etc I get called a liar. I've also still yet to see a cafe with more than a handful of tea options on the menu since many claimed there's more then 30 kinds of tea sold in places they've worked at - most I've seen is 4 options + selection of herbal (which were in individual bags on the counter) thus not relevant to the conversation at hand about ordering.
But even on here I've been noticing it, you start a discussion with someone with opposing views and a lot of time it's cheap shots of whore, slut, OF Vs incel and mum's basement, 40 year old virgin crap. A lot of times I find it's the girl that takes the first pot shot, but not always, but it's sad really. As if we can't have frank and open conversations about things, then soon everything will turn to anarchy and civil war and we'd be no different than the third world countries except with a perceived better quality of life.
