+1 yHave you ever seen unwanted children left in hospitals because their mother was forced to give birth? Do you know what fate they share? Have you ever spent a minute in an orphanage or hospital giving relief to such children?
Have you ever seen emotionally abused children? They are left alone with food at home and expected to care for themselves. Because their parents, their mothers, never wanted them. Or have you ever seen lonely kids of working parents? They have no time to talk to their kids, to ask if they met someone new or if someone is bullying them at school. And they are bullied because their parents are poor, so those kids have nothing new, nothing respected by their peers. They are out of peer circles, outcasted...
A small percentage will find their own way and leave a life of emotional and, quite often, physical abuse. They will find exceptional help or someone significant enough to help them see another perspective. Unfortunately, we speak about 4 to 6%... Approximately 30% of the rest will at least once try to end their lives... Because living in constant emotional darkness is unbearable...
I admire mothers who can say - I can't raise this child. I have no skills, no home, no money, and as no one wants to take this responsibility, I will end this life before it starts without pain. It's a hard decision for a woman. But it's better than a lifetime of suffering... Children are not asking to be born. We bring them into this world, so let's do it consciously, and let's take full responsibility not only for their full belly but also for their mental well-being.
No, a woman who knows that she can't secure her child's needs and decides to have an abortion is not a murderer.00 Reply

+1 ythere's no wrong reason to have an abortion lol. it’s not like someone’s having an abortion every year just because, they just dont want a baby now or ever. the process is actually, like… intense and emotionally/physically draining.
like yeah, it can be religiously wrong, but its all for a purpose and we can't judge people for that.00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yThe right wing wants to ban abortion because of god or something. But then they are the same people who are against feeding starving children and government assistance and think god will fix the problem.
The Left-Wing is shitty, too. I don't discriminate against either side. I understand they oversimplify things on both right-wing and left-wing because the average voter cannot follow anything complicated which is why a third will never win.
If a girl is raped the right would prefer she have the rapist child rather than abort it. The right wing complains about welfare and all poor people having too many kids then they are against abortion because they need poor people with to scrutinize, ruin their self-esteem, so they can feel worthless and work them for very little money.
The right-wing does not care if the girl ends her life because she is forced to have the rapist baby. And the right-wing does not care if the woman needs the abortion to save her life. The right-wing mostly hates women and sees them as disposable. Same as how the Left-wing sees men as disposable.

+1 yI only consider it murder if the baby is basically developed (later stages of pregnancy) the baby has it’s own heartbeat and is kicking around in the womb.
Furthermore when that is the case and say the girl just randomly decides that she doesn’t want the baby anymore. Like dude… you literally carried this growing baby inside you for months. And now you want to get rid of it? Typically this happens when they realize how different their lives are gonna be becoming a single mom. So they decide to abort. But at that point just give birth to the baby and put it up for adoption. Who knows, many women that are doubtful but end up giving birth to the baby end up deciding to keep it after it’s born.
For the record I am pro choice, however I do not think it should be used as a method of contraception nor should abortion should be done late term.00 Reply

People who have never met her and know nothing about her or her life? Can’t say their opinions matter much at all.
Is it murder? Only if it’s an unlawful killing of another human. Does abortion fit that description?00 Reply
+1 yAbortion is not a means of birth control. An abortion is meant to happen if the baby is not going to survive until birth. A woman who gets an abortion just because "she doesn't want a kid" is using abortion as a means of birth control and as such is a disgusting human being. I am all for abortion as long as it is done right. And that is only when the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother.

Of course. People should be charged with a “criminal threat” for making a death threat against anybody’s life.
Why would that even be a question?

@RainbowMarinade It is very easy.
"Murder is the deliberate and illegal killing of a person." definition.
Abortion is killing/homicide. Baby is person. Mother and doctor do it deliberately.
The only dubious word is: "illegal".
The problem with that is whether the law is morally good. In North Korea, Hitler's Third Reich or Stalin's USSR there were "legal" (according to their laws) mass killings of people which I would argue ware mass murders.
Sorry, but moral law is and should be way higher than country law.
Deliberate killing of human that is unwilling to die IS MURDER.
Shielding behind that in your country it is legal to kill babies is morally evil.
If your country made it legal to cruelly kill people on Sundays, that this killings would be technically not classified as murders in court, but in reality they would be evil homicides.
Homicide of defenceless baby is evil and people who do it should rot in prison. The same for doctors who perform (abortions), they are helping in these murders.
The best, stable fundamental for morality is the divine law, and many people adhere to it. - +1 y

People who call abortion murder, do so from an emotional place. Murder is a legal term, and it has parameters that define the word. If abortion is legal, it cannot be called murder.
“Deliberate killing of human that is unwilling to die IS MURDER.” No it’s not.
“If your country made it legal to cruelly kill people on Sundays….” Seriously? 🙄
So, to paraphrase “women are under some mistaken belief that their bodies are their own, and any women who makes choices based on the idea that their body belongs to them alone, should be put to death.”
You’ll excuse me if I completely dismiss the idea that others have more rights to the body I live in the I do myself.
You are free to live by your “divine law,” while I am free to reject it.
Freedom is cool like dat. - +1 y
@RainbowMarinade I am also free to reject your view on freedom. Morally they are murderers, child-killers. Law is set by people. If people would make killing legal, then killing people on the street would not be a murder in law-sense but it be morally and in common sense. No good government should legalise killing people. Abortion is just this kind of abomination.
Women are under mistaken belief that child is her body. It is other, autonomous body that is inside women.
Why not go further, maybe lets legalise abortion (killing) children up to 3 years old. If parent is unhappy, he/she can kill a child with a knife. And later legalise forced euthanasia for older people.
YOU ARE SUPPORTING THE CIVILISATION OF DEATH!!! - +1 y
@_piotr
You are absolutely free to reject my view. I’d even fight for you to have that right. It’s okay that you disagree with me.
I understand that you need to make reference to an extreme and unlikely situation in order for you to make your point, but how about we just stick to the conversation we’re already having about abortion?
“Why not go further?” What kind of question is that? Please, make the connection for me. There is a distinct difference between a fetus and the people you have offered up for killing.
Do you know what that difference is?
Until you understand that difference, we cannot continue with this conversation.
+1 yNo ofc not!
