Let’s discuss if a man does not want children, is the obligated to take care of a child he took part in creating?

Well, I was watching a video the other day, and this man has seven children by different baby mothers, and he expressed in the beginning that he did not want children he offered to pay for an abortion.

Due to laws now, some of the children were born. He stated that he does not think he should pay for the children that he does not want

Well, what are your thoughts?

Should these women have initially just said no to dating or being with this person?

Who is in the wrong?

Should these women file for child support?

It seems kind of 50-50 that he should take care of the child, and he did try to tell these women. They’re a different circumstances if she never told him, but the act of is still there.

So I’m just reading abortions have mental damage, and I guess the equivalent seems like a vasectomy. Both can be irreversible, and sometimes there’s sterilization of women that happen where a woman can never have a kid again there’s never any pressure for men to get a vasectomy.

Of course. If he refuses to take care of his child then at leadt they should pay for it (child support). Abortion is wrong and should be illegal everywhere, now the case is though that it is legal but it is a decision ONLY women can and should make as it is her that have to go through with it. It’s not as simple as saying have an abortion I’ll pay for it because it affects many women psychologically. Women who’snhad abortions are much more likely to suffer depression after and a lot (yes not all) of women feel pressured, regret, depression, anxiety, sorrow, ptsd after the facg. There are women who’s committed suicide after. It’s not something ”pro choicers” like to talk about - all the women being pressured, coerced or threatened into abortions they didn’t want of babies they already loved and then suffering horrible mental health issues afterwards. I personally know someone (a family member) who was threatened by her ex to get an abortion and also pressured by family. It’s 8.5 years ago and she’s still suffering mental health issues and can’t function like normal. For a few years all she did was cry in her home with curtains closed, go out to meet strange men at night that she had met online because she couldn’t stand being alone with her thoughts and said she was HOPING those men would kill her. She went months without showering and sometimes would eat nothing all for days and sometimes would binge chocolates and otjer unhealthy stuff. She dropped out of uni, couldn’t work or keep her apartment because no income so had to move in with her grandparents. Couldn’t go out in public without ending up crying from seeing kids and was always angry. Had never tried alcohol before but tried using that to cope. She made multiple suicide attempts. Like I said still to this day she’s depressed, can’t work, is always on her phone and says she needs that to distract her from her thoughts and she has fitd of anger where she go off on family members for things that happened back then. Therapy and atuff has not helped. These things are never talked about. It’s always ”her body her choice” and how everyone have the right to abortion. Never anything about how mich it can hurt someone or how many women are pressured into this by MEN. They can’t even ask a woman coming in for an abortion if this is what SHE really wants. My family member claims she even told the midwive she didn’t want to do an abortion but was threatened and forced by her boyfriend and family and the midwife didn’t give a shit and just hurried her to take the pill already because they didn’t have all day. If you lay down to have sex you know you can create a baby and then you should be prepared to take your parental responsibility for that child. That man with 7 baby mamas, if he was so stupid that he had sex without any thought and acceptance about how it could lead to him becoming a father then at least he should have learned after the first time he had a baby. He’s obviously dumb and yes, he should 100% pay (just like all other parents who are deadbeats or don’t take equal responsibility in raising their own damn kids that they fucked around to have.

I believe that in states where women are allowed to choose whether or not they want to give birth to a child they created, men should be able to choose whether or not they want to financially support a child they created.

In some ways it's a legitimate argument, like if a guy's a flight risk already and doesn't have a job. Just make it a cheap vasectomy and make him off the hook for baby #1. I'd argue the same thing for the rare, but possible cases of mothers who abandon their children.

It's just a lot easier to get away if you don't want to be there as a guy. The whole not being pregnant part is a big part there. Realistically, I can just drive 30 minutes to an hour, be in a different city, chat women up, rent a cheap studio in cash, use a different name, buy some furniture from goodwill, and if I don't feel it anymore, leave it all.

He helped create the child and is now responsible for making sure the child is taken care of... that's typically paying child support to the mother.

An exception to that might be if the woman misled him (ex: she lied and said she had her tubes tied and could not get pregnant) when they had sex, but we'll leave that up to the courts

Just because you didn't want something doesn't relieve you of responsibility for it happening. You probably didn't want to be the driver of car that crashed into another, but you are still responsible for the damage done.

Regardless of whether or not they had sex, for billions of years males of all species could choose not to be fathers and/or support their babies. Therefore, it is a violation of nature to force males to be fathers and/or to support their babies.

Humans have existed for 3 million years and for greater than 99.99% of human existence, men could choose not to support their children. Therefore, to require men to support their children is a violation of nature.

If this man did not want babies, why didn't he use condoms or get a vasectomy? No, he made a baby, he knew that was possible when he had unprotected sex with his partner, and if he doesn't support HIS child, who should? The taxpayers?

Since the women can choose to give the child up for adoption, the man should be allowed to give the child up for adoption. The adopted parent (s) will support the child. Humans have existed for 3 million years, for all but less than the last 300 years (greater than 99.99%) men had the right to choose not to be fathers. Since human evolved with men having that right, they should still have that right.

I'm not going to have sex prior to or outside of marriage. That is what all women should do. Then there wouldn't be this problem.

IMHO. If abortion is legal, then women have the choice whether or not ton continue an unintended pregnancy, men do not. So I think with that authority comes responsibility, and women are entirely responsible.

Since a woman is allowed to give the child up for adoption, the man should be allowed to give the child up for adoption. I partly agree, but since the fetus is IN the woman's body, I can't imagine forcing here to abort being morally acceptable. There is a fundamental asymmetry there. But since that means the woman has all the control, she should bear the responsibility.

Certainly, men who have none of the control shouldn't bear all the responsibility. If he has no part in the lives of his children, by the mother's choice he has no obligation to pay child support or such. If he chooses it himself, he may be obligated to pay child support if the mother believes he should.

When a woman has an abortion she is choosing to not be a parent, just like the man in your video. In states where women have the right to an abortion, a man should also have the right to say no to being a parent, as long as he formally makes that choice early enough in the pregnancy that the woman can still get and abortion.

Yes these women should have chose better. But the FACT remains, when he took part in the conception of these children he signed his responsibility to them.
