If you aren’t afraid to fight in a war, does that indicate the person has a good heart?

Many people not long at all ago believed so. And so do many people today. (Though media doesn’t pick up on it as much)

Killing and dying for nationalism? No way and if make sure my son's didn't either. I'd rather be jailed as a conscientious objector if it came to that. I think courage/, bravery and foolish/reckless are a fine line that you don't get the answer until it's too late.

Rather the opposite, I should think. Willingness to kill people who've never done anything to you simply because your government says so isn't exactly a good sign.

Don't be daft. No one readily fights in a war - not even serial killers and murderers. But a war is a necessity, when talking isn't going anywhere.

It's not normal to NOT fear fighting in a war. It probably means someone is kinda crazy.

what's the war for? Is it defending my country, or is it going off to fight in another country's civil war just because my country told me to?
