For US Citizens only, How would you feel if a religious group in your town/state wanted to ban things like alcohol and pork?

This is going on in Texas, Muslims are protesting, suggesting that them, being less than 2% of Texas population, should have the laws amended to suit them, and outlaw pork and beer.

I personally thank god no one is stupid enough to go along with it. At least i hope they aren't. Sorry not giving up pork, and occasionally i cook with beer, and wine, and sometimes whiskey, Not interested in religious extremists taking away my right to cook the way i want.
