+1 yDark and rainy
I live in an area of Oregon where it's always dark and rainy
The sun is rarely out for more than a few moments before it is covered by thick clouds and those clouds are oftentimes raining
If we're lucky we will get hail because it also doesn't snow here very much because why not why not get tons of rain and no snow, ever!
Oh yeah it also gets very windy like we get Gail force winds somewhat often as a matter of fact you can tell who doesn't come from here based off of whether or not they come with an umbrella if they come with an umbrella they haven't lived here very long or they are tourists while the people who live here usually either wear ponchos or coats and even then rarely do they ever have their hood on because that will also just blow away nope they don't wear hats they don't wear hoods they just cover up everything else and go about their day13 Reply- +1 y
Then we don't really live very far apart because I happen to be on the west coast of the United States specifically of the Northern end of the West Coast I live in Oregon

There is one state between Oregon and Canada and that's Washington

Forgot to answer for myself, lmao. It’s starting to get better, but it’s been a little cool here, mid-40s to mid-50s. Went fishing the other day (regular, not ice, lmfao) and the bite was still pretty slow. Got a pickerel and a bass before the sun fell on me, but other than some bluegills cruising near the shoreline, maybe thinking about spawning, everything else still seems pretty dormant. A saw a big pickerel just look at my lure, and those things are usually pretty aggro, they’re wired to strike. So it’s still too cold to reliably count on that. I’m ready for May, for sure.

+1 yI don't know haven't been out since Saturday. But Friday it poured big ice cube sized hail. Very scary and the first time in life i’ve ever seen hail in person. Luckily we werent caught in it but we came home to everyones yard covered in what legit looked like ice cubes straight out a tray

No, not south at all. Just a funky area that gets dramatic temp changes. 100F in the day can be 40’s at night this time of year.

+1 yIt's morning, mostly cloudy overcast, temperature 55 F (13 C), forecast to go to 75 F (24 C) by late afternoon, no precipitation expected. This past winter we only had a few days of a dusting of snow, which is fairly typical, although we usually have at least one snowstorm of 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) ... that didn't happen this year.
12 Reply- +1 y
2-3 inches of snow can shutdown the whole area for a day or two. We're not prepared for snow because it's such a rare occurrence.
+1 yWe are 39 degrees but yesterday was rainy and 38 degrees supposed to hit the 50s but I have to see it happen, there were other parts of Pennsylvania that were getting hammered with the snow we just hit it lucky cause when we get snow we can have power outages I hope your safe 🤗👼🙏

@douride2 Yeah, it said we got like 4-12 inches, so who knows I recalled being a Senior in High School it was 60 degrees during a day, and by midnight we had a freak snowstorm that hammered us with 3-6 inches by 6 a. m. the School Districts had to hurry up and make delays my mom ( late) told me she wasn't sending us to School cause she didn't trust the roads.
It's-3 and feels like -9C. Still snowing for the past 24 hours out west. Just finished snowblowing the driveway. All that heavy wet snow. I don't mind the fluffy stuff but I hate it when it's wet.
Now off to work. Good thing I have a 4x4 truck. Going to need it today.15 ReplyI'm not sure whether or not to be sorry about your circumstances. Those conditions sound terrible to me. I'm optimistic you'll make the best out of it. Meanwhile, it's currently hazy and in the low 60s where I am. I'm working only this morning. After work, I'm taking my family out for a daytrip to the beach when the clouds clear and the temp rises to the mid 70s.
