What could be better for lodging during this trip?

In Mid August my cousins and I are planning a Europe trip soo we are like starting to organize or talk about the trip. We are not sure what could be better for lodging.

We can't afford luxury hotels but we want at least a clean rooms, space enough for 6 people with breakfast included and a good prize that is not that expensive. We dont want to share showers or bathrooms. So we dont know if it is more practical to pay an Airbnb or some modest room at a modest hotel (nothing lavish or super pricey) . My cousin says it is better an Airbnb as is like staying in someones house or apartment and more private than in a hotel or moteland also we can prepare our own food, and that also saves us money and we can get it and get out at the time we want.

I've stayed many times in Europe. Trust me, pay a little more for a modest Western style hotel. Just trust me. Do not do an AirBnB or apartment. Not only are apartments in Europe shit, they're often not as advertised. Just trust me. Spend the extra money on the hotel.

I honestly don't think you'll save much money by cooking, plus why would you wanna cook on vacation? But if you want, you can buy things like meat, bread and cheese at the local markets for a reasonable price and make sandwiches.

What countries will you be going to? Not sure you'd want to deal with cooking on a trip like that though.

Try a B n B, cooking your own food is too complicated, what Europe you looking at? France is pretty easy going,

France I will agree and also all the English speaking countries. Everywhere else, the accommodations are shit
