I just return from a trip to Korea. I was surprised that they use facial recognition at the Toronto airport. I feel bad that Americans using finger print too. I feel like my freedom is violated. What do you think?
America needs to know who is entering the country. We hae had terrorism attacks and do not need another one. The irony here is that they take these measures at the airports to keep out foreign invaders yet have an open southern border and let people from all over the world into American and even give them free transportation to anywhere in the country without a clue who they are.

It makes the process so much faster. I don't really care. Out your passport chip on the machine look at the camera and away you go. Cuts the time in half.

Facial recognition is being used in more places then we are aware of & as for the airport if it keeps our airways safer I’m all for it.

To establish a passenger's identity, the facial recognition system is installed at e-gates at these checkpoints. An application will be needed to link passengers' travel details with the contactless process.
