Of the women I know, those who cook and clean and do other domestic chores do so voluntarily. It's not due to caving into societal norms, they just have the time to do so, where their so's are doing other things.
The same is true of the men I know who cook, clean, and do domestic things.
P. S. I'm not a fan of J Lo. She looks great, but I've never liked her music. I'm also not a fan of her borrowing from the movie Network.
I don't really see it as sexist. I don't think she's saying that all men are lazy, just that the lazy ones should do something to help because she's not there to take care of them.
No lol. She is singing about those typical men who can't even lift a finger to clean up themselves and let alone cook. A song dedicated to the spoilt lazy and arrogant men who can't even clean up their bathroom and leave it in mold and smelling of shit and pubic hair lying everywhere.
I just watched the whole video so my opinion shall bias-free.
Anyway, I personally do not find the song sexist as I do not need a woman to depend on for my needs. However, my first impression of the whole song was "just another silly mainstream pop video written by multiple writers for one Hollywood superstar." So the short answer is that I don't care too much about the song and I wouldn't see it as a big deal if someone scream 'SEXIST' towards it.
That video is her showing off her body in old school fashion. That is all there is to it. Also old school... in the past, it was just mostly men working I think
its hard to take a woman who has millions of dollars, dates guys 20 years younger than her seriously

No it's fine. Women shouldn't be expected to clean the house and shop groceries for the guy just as the guy shouldn't be expected to provide for her through a job.
Yes, the equal equality thing is a complete shame/BS. I can list about 2 dozen ways that women are actually spoiled and men are the ones on the short end of the stick.
I think it's actually the opposite. It's a song that shows that women shouldn't be obligated to do house chores. That both (men and women) should do it. It has a positive message in my opinion.

Everyone needs a tamp and needs to calm down. It's just a song.

I never liked J Lo's music so it doesn't really matter to me either way.
What kind of music
All of her songs are not my style.

Nope. If you are grown take care of yourself and balance chores with each other

'She ain't your grandma' woulda been a tad more accurate. Outside of that, F*ck that song lol
I don't like J LO. I get an evil vibe from her I don't know why.
I hate how so many female pop songs are basically just whining about their ex.
I don't wanna hear it.
Ayy lmao
This song is stupid. Like if you don't want to do your wifely duties then don't be a wife.
Damn mami looks good
I won't comment on the PC stupidity
Wait what?
Not you. Just the idea the song is sexist
