This past month alone saw multiple South Korean companies remove their advertisements due to what South Korean men’s rights groups deemed an offensive gesture. The gesture in question is a hand pose with the thumb and index finger in a pinching motion — which the groups are claiming to be a disparaging reference to small male genitalia.
Uhhh... Remind me to never look a South Korean man dead in the eye while I'm making that gesture! Must be a cultural thing. People I know use it all the time to say "just a little bit". Would you like a piece of cake? Thumb and finger gesture... Do you think the soup needs more salt? Thumb and finger gesture... So, I guess if a man's insecure about his just-a-lil-bit he might think it is referring to his male anatomy. When we are out somewhere and I make that gesture to my husband he knows I'm telling him "I love you just a little bit" and, usually, he grabs my hand and takes me home right away!

In their defense, East Asian men have had to fight the COMPLETELY FALSE SLANDER that they have the smallest cocks comparatively. I understand if their upset because it's a hurtful stereotype that has no bearing in fact. For ALL RACES AND ETHNICITIES it's a staggeringly normal 5.5" to 6". I think it's really time to put this length thing to bed. You too ladies who are measuring cup sizes. It's almost 100% irrelevant for most people.

I find it odd. But they do come from a different culture so I can kind of understand. Not sure if people over there think that taking the gesture out of commercials is needed or not.
