Me and my boyfriend have been togeather for about 6 years, he is 8 years younger than me, we have lived togeather for the past 2 years.
When I first met him I had broke up with my ex and had some money issues and his parents lent me money which I didn't know initially, I thought it was him, I got behind with my payments and money I was expected to inherit from someone didn't happen and a cheque bounced...
His dad especially took it bad and reacted bad, eventually I paid them back and we got better over time, his mum has always been very nice to me, my boyfriend is the youngest and they have always helped us with things and him money and are very involved in his life, he has a brother who has a girlfriend and his dad loves her, always compliments her takes an interest in her but she is quiet as am loud and fun like his dad really.
Last year they brought the house next to door to them and asked if we wanted to rent it but would do up our way but they pay, I was unsure as they quite involved but said give try and seemed fine if honest and his dad got lot better, but its little things like family events at ours his dad takes over and always sits near his brothers girlfriend and says comments like "these glasses are cheap unlike Emma's" and puts me down says your not with it bless it's just you and smirks, and if I say joke bout my boyfriend he hates it and stares,
I feel he likes me more than he did but don't like me as am outgoing etc and I don't bake like Emma and I answer back and Even though I make more effort with the family talk more etc his mum moans to me me about her.
He can be very sarcastic like he likes to put me down in front of big crowds but when us and his wife he fine and normal again.
Does he like me and just teasing as we got a lovely house now etc and built us new kitchen or do you think he wary of me? I pay all bills as said have to be in my name?

Any more advice and I have spoken with my boyfriend he claims teasing but won't ever answer his dad back
