Basically there's this guy and we've been friends for 5 years, I've always had a crush on him but never had the guts to tell him until he kissed me at a party a year and a half ago - at which time I was at uni, nothing came from the kiss until a few months later. I randomly bumped into him and we exchanged numbers. I would text him every few days and he would reply, it was all nice and friendly.
Then at Xmas last year we were at a party and we ended up making out, a few days later I asked him if he wanted to meet up with me (as a date) but he didn't reply. I went back to uni and he apologized for standing me up. He avoided talking to me for 3 weeks and then confessed he did really like me just I was in uni and he was having doubts to whether a long distance relationship would work, mainly because he didn't have the money to come and visit me.
then when I was home for Easter we ended up making out at another party. I was confused because I thought he just wanted to be friends, so I text him asking where I stood but he never replied. after that things became a little awkward. I was still texting him and trying to talk to him (just normal stuff) but now and again he would ignore my messages.
then I graduated and returned home, and at the end of summer he started expressing some interest in me again. We were at yet another party and he took me to bed, we fooled around but didn't have sex, I told him that I wasn't ready to go all the way, he was fine with it. He told me that he really liked me and that he's just inexperienced and rubbish when it comes to girls. He also told me that he'd slept with two other girls in the past but they got bored of him and didn't want nothing to do with him, after they had sex. I told him that I wasn't like that - and to prove that I've been texting him and trying to talk to him online since then but he's gone back to ignoring all my messages again...I just don't know what to do? because I don't want him thinking I'm bored like the other girls,when I'm not.
I'm confused and just don't know what's going on? Everyone seems to know that I really like him, so if he does feel the same way then why is he being hot and cold? and why is he ignoring me?
I know he has had some bad experiences in the past with his first girlfriend cheating on him so I think a part of him is afraid of commitment and getting hurt...I really don't know. but id appreciate your comments and suggestions! Thanks.
