I couldn't tell if you were good looking or not or how old you were, because your photo is toooo small, but even ugly girls get hit on. You sound good though...hard-working, decent looking symmetry in your picture...I would assume you might have a back off look. Maybe when you go out you take all your girlfriends along with you like a damnchastity belt, who knows. guys don't like that because its like you are already spoken for...no one wants to wriggle through a pack of wolves just to ask a girl if she's interested in talking. you could have that already taken look, if a girl is having problems finding a guy and wondering why no one hits on her I say...she needs to be more assertive...a little aggressive. its okay for you to walk up to a guy you're interested in and start a conversation...guess what...that will work EVERY single time...they might like the surprise SO much that they offer you their number within minutes of your opening words...
Maybe trying to at least say hi or smile to a guy? Most educated men would never just go around hitting on a random girls they see on the street or any public places, you gotta give them some incentive because the last thing we want, is being labeled as some kind of creeps. Try making eye contact, smiling and that'll get rid of the "I look to young" or "already taken" assumptions...
It may be young body language. Ask one of your good friends to watch you on a might out. At the end of the night get her input on what you did, right and wrong. Also, ask a guy friend. They know their sex better than any women would. I think that you should find your answer sooner
