Why is she so busy all of a sudden?

I finally went out with a girl I've been flirting with for a long time, the date went well and we agreed to go out again. When I tried to make plans, she said she had already made plans with other friends. When I asked her out again the following week, she said she was waiting on some people for that date as well.

Is there a chance she's actually telling the truth, or just lying about being busy to spare my feelings?

I think she is probably just actually busy, if it continues any more, she might be trying to play hard to get, or she might be trying to spare your feelings. If she is still interested, she will continue to talk to you, flirt and continue how things were. Most likely if she is trying to spare your feelings, she would slightly bridge herself away by not talking to you.

She might actually have plans, OR she is avoiding you because all of sudden feelings uncomfortable. Ask her out again but his time ask her what date works her, if she comes up with a date actually time/date, she likes you however if she makes it vague she probably avoiding you.
