a) hmm difficult. I also text back "i miss you too" when I don't mean it, just to be polite / not to hurt the guy.
if I truly missed him, I'd probably be more like likely to say "i missed you so much too!" or like a lot of exclamation marks and stuff :) just more enthousiastic I guess.
b) I wouldn't get offended if you texted that, but I don't know what your trying to achieve with that.
if she's laying about missing you then that question will obviously force her to lie again (=not good).
My boyfriend sometimes texts me and says "I love you, I miss you" or something like that. Most of the time, I mean it when I write him back and tell him I miss him and love him too. I always say it back because it reassures him that I do love him and I need him in my life, even if I'm angry with him that day or whatnot.

I definitely mean it :) I miss my boyfriend all the time, I usually only get to see him on weekends. So it's nice when I get to talk to him. I usually text him at least once a day, he doesn't always respond so it's kinda tough. But it's nice when he does. I realize that he's busy, so I don't worry too much. I get busy too sometimes and miss his texts. But I definitely mean it when I say I miss him :)
well you can tell if I mean it or not by the way I say/type it.. if I just say "miss you to" then I don't mean it, and you might be getting on my nerves! but if I say "I miss you too!" or something with "!" in it then yeah I mean it.. for some odd reason I never use the letter "I" if I don't mean anything.. it's probably a bad trait but yeah. u Some women are sincere and some aren't. They aren't all alike and there are very few rules that apply to all of them uniformly. If some girl responded to you and said, "I miss you, too," then knowing what OTHER girls mean when they say that isn't any help in deciding whether YOUR girl was being sincere.
i wouldn't get offended but it well.. I don't know the word for it bothers me a little .. so don't say it you might bother her or something I dunno
and yeahh if I say I miss you too I differently mean it, but when I say me 2 I still mean it but it means thta I miss you but I am not feeling okay right now and I don't wanna show it (kind of lol)

If I mean it , I'll say it but if I don't truly miss them I'll just be like aww or something dumb like that lol. and if he says that I'm just saying that I'd be annoyed. just take the compliment and that's that. don't over think a simple " I miss you too"
This guy only text me when ever and will say he misses me although he makes no effort to see me. I used to respond, then I stopped and now I sometimes just send a smiley face... I don't know what the point is.
If he says "you're just saying that" then it shows that he's insecure with the relationship and not sure where it's going. If you're not sure talk to her about it
