Can you be self conscious and confident at the same time?

i am somewhat shy and very self conscious. I feel like everybody is looking at me and judging me.

but I'm also very confident in my self and sometimes a little too cocky.

Yes you can be both, but I don't believe at the same time. One day I feel really good about myself and those feelings of self doubt are no where to be found. In another time I will feel insecure about things. It is all a state of mind, and In my experience it comes with repitition. I notice that those thoughts and feelings seem to change depending on the situation/environment I am in. Be yourself! And radiate confidence. It is extremely attractive, and just overall a happier way of life. Don't be afraid to be different either, because being normal is boring. Honestly, I don't think I have ever met a normal person in my life anyway :P

In a sense, yes. I'm really self conscious about my appearance, but I tend wear outfits and lean towards styles that naturally command and attract attention, which I don't have a problem with. Maybe I'm just using confident and not giving a fuck what other people thing too interchangeably though =D

I think so. Some things can cause you insecurities in some areas but not others.
