When your "friends with benefits" (pretty much f*** buddy) asks to borrow money off you would you stop seeing them?

I'm curious about this, so one of my best friends asked for my opinion on this matter and I said she shouldn't talk to him anymore. Wondering what others point of views are on this topic.

If your friends with benefits (friends with benefits - more like a buddy by the sounds of it, but not a booty call because they did sleep overs and cuddled after sex etc but never go out to dates or anything like that) asked you to borrow money and the amount of money is irrelevant because its the principal behind it.

Of course my friend said no to him, which I also made clear when she told me this to not lend him any money (two reasons being 1) she just shouldn't be lending her friends with benefits money and 2) she will most likely not see that money again.

She's upset that she can't see him again, but she knows it will lower her worth if she acts like what he did wasn't wrong and continues to be his friends with benefits .

Do you agree with my advice I've given her? Or would you simply say no to lending the money but advise that she can continue sleeping with him?

If she trusts him , she should give him money but in return take something valuable from him like a collateral ( what banks do ) like ring or something of the same amount. She should keep that item as a security until he returns her money. This can cause trust issues between both but at least even if he runs away she would still have something of the equal amount. Could be that he is genuinely in need of money. I would say that she gives him money and takes a collateral in return.

Because maybe she feels grossed out or used by him because of him asking her for money, meaning he has no respect for her and that may have killed the passion/romance for if they ever were to "meet up" again.

Isn't that also lowering her standards and self worth? Why the hell would a friends with benefits even ask to borrow money off a girl they are sleeping with! User.

Stopping seeing him is a bit much as he asked for something which she denied. It's not like her asked her for a kidney.

The rules of this particular game are clear - they come together to fuck and that's it. No love, no romance, no wining and dining, no money, no cereal in the morning, just sex.

I have been in this situation. I have been seeing this guy for about a month basically a friends with benefit relationship. I have lent him money about £160 and I haven't seen any of it back :/ I know stupid me. So I agree with your advice you've given

That's improper for a male to ask a female for money. If some guy asked me for money, it would turn me way off. He's already getting no strings attatched sex and now he wants money? Sounds like a manwhore.

However after speaking with my friend, she said she'll miss the sex because they had great bedroom chemistry and things were comfortable between them. I guess she is worried about not sticking to her moral values, but it is a tricky one because at the end of the day does that even matter if he's a man whore or what ever.. they are both using each other for sex and company after hours anyway.

I don't get it... is it not normal to lend money to friends? How does sex even enter the equation? If anything it makes it more likely that he will return the money to her, because if he doesn't then no more sex...

I had a similar situation, he asked for $200 and of course i said no😎 apparently he has to make a payment and he’s missing that amount… How am I supposed to know that?
