Seeing him once a week should be enough if you keep in touch other ways, like texting every day and calling occasionally. And you don't know him that well yet, so you don't want to scare him off by trying to see him too often. But instead of waiting for him to contact you, text him tomorrow saying you'd like to redo the date. Come up with a fun idea he can't say no to, like a movie he wants to see, bowling or an activity you know he likes, a local concert, going for a run if you're both active people, etc... be your best self and give him a chance to see the real you lol. Have fun :)
