He ditched me last minute?

Met a guy briefly not long ago and the. He asked me out for drinks last weekend. I said sure and he was pretty nice I guess, we seemed to have a lot in common. we also had a bite to eat and he dropped me off. We're both not looking for anything serious.

Thursday night he asked me about seeing me on Saturday, and he's hoping we could get together and have a sesh. I told him if he promises to come through I'll keep my Sat open for him.

Sat night comes and he asks me to go to a party with him, or if I just wanna chill and smoke. I told him I'd prefer to only chill unless we won't be at the party long and get me back safetly. Then he was all like "I'm gonna go check out the party with my buds to make sure it's not bad lol my friends like dragged me out from my place, you're workig tmrw right cause I'm free then too". Like lol wtf.. Now I'm pissed off! He's obviously going to ask to hang out again but I feel like he doesn't deserve to see me again after ditching me last minute.

I think you're overreacting a little considering he did invite you. He didn't just not call you and pretend like you'd never set a date. I also think that he's acting like someone whose not looking for anything serious, as you said was your plan as well. If you were both trying to "date" I'd say it was worse. Sure it was still a bit rude, but not anything unexpected for a casual thing.
