Are short guys really a big turn-off?

I'm only about 5'7" or 5'8". I've never really be concerned about my height, but now that I'm done growing, I'm starting to worry a tiny bit!

Coincidentally, I was just talking with friends about this last night. One of our friends is a guy who's 5' 4. Still, he was getting girl's phone numbers whenever he wanted. It's about very many other things than just your height. Girls tend to like guys who are taller than them, but that doesn't mean that you have to be tall, just tall-er. And since the average height for a girl is below your height, you'll have plenty of opportunities.

I read somewhere that the average American man is 5 '10, but you can't prove it by me...I am just over 5'8, and I look around in my area (Orange County) Ca...and I seem to be on an 'eye level' with most men.

a lot of girls do prefer taller guys, I guess it's the whole feeling of protection and what not...but it really depends on the individual

cuz me..im 5'7 1/2 and I like guys that are the exact same height as me. So you shouldn't really be too worried. If someone likes you...there going to like you no matter what

Generally I prefer tall guys, but if I really liked someone their height wouldn't matter. Most girls wouldn't care about how tall you or what you looked like, if they really liked you...at least that's what I think.

I would date a guy shorter than me, but I'm 5ft 2 and not many guys are shorter than me. lol.

I would't worry about it too much unless you have a thing for tall girls. Most girls like a guy that is taller than them. Being 5'7, not too many girls are going to be much taller. I'm about the average height for a girl at 5'4, and I dated a guy who was barely 5'5. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

5'7-5'9 for guys seems to be more of the average height. Walk around in public and you'll see what I'm talking about (atleast in my area).

Just be happy with yourself, there's nothing wrong about your height at all.

nawh. I'm 5'9" and like a guy that's under 5'8". I think short guys are sexy! I don't know what it is, something about the proportions of their body

Nope not at all and 5'8 isn't a bad height I'm only about 5'0 so anyone taller then 5'2 is fine
