I don't think they're necessarily more honest. I do however think that because they're shy, they tend to just kind of people watch. I'm very shy around new people and it takes a while for me to warm up to them. When I start a new job it takes me about 3 months before I can hold a good conversation with a co-worker (pathetic, I know). Ever since I was a little kid I've been the kind of person to sit back, analyze the situation, and people watch. Watch who interacts with who, who has a personality I wouldn't get along with, etc. I think because they tend to sit back and analyze, they're just better able to gauge a certain situation, which may or may not (just depending on the situation) make them sound or appear more "honest".

Shyness has nothing to do with it, I've known some shy people and they turned out to be total idiots, it just depends who they are really, nobody can tell who is what from certain personality traits, you just have to get to know people not assume they will be more honest or not. I'm rather shy too but I am honest, most the time... lol but generally I try my best not to do anything that's not nice at all because I know if I did id just be a bad person.
Do you think shy people are more honest?
No I think honesty has more to do with character than social inclination. I've know quite a bit of extroverts that are liars and most of the introverts I know are dishonest and omit.
I think honesty has to do more with the character of the person than whether or not they are shy or outgoing. It's parallel to when people were saying blondes have more fun, when really we can't assume just because someone is blond they will be more fun than a brunette.
there is no way this is true cause they are not true to there feelings the often go off of others feelings before considering there own. its a no for me XD

No. If anything I'd say they're a little less honest. Shyness is a nice way of saying that someone strongly fears social criticism more than the average person. Which means, if the truth isn't good news, a shy person may be more scared to tell it due to the backlash.
I think people will be more honest if they are honest people
I'd say no.
Most shy guys, in my opinion, are more likely to say/do things to sort of remain neutral/friendly even if it means to lie just because they don't want to have any confrontation. No I think if anything getting the real truth from someone shy would be next to impossible.
I wouldn't say they are more or less honest only because really anyone can lie.
I have noticed that shy people are definitely more wild behind closed doors. I'm not generalizing shy people but a lot of them are pretty wild once you get to know them you'll see it.
Yes. Introverted people tend to be liars, and pretty good ones too.
No, it doesn't have any thing to do with honesty
this is a stupid question
Yes, because they are a little more anxious
shy people are lame.
