Clinginess is "cute" up to a point. I don't mind if you're over me at a party, but if I'm talking to some friends in a group and you just keep trying to get my attention away from them then that's where the problem starts. Like you can totally just hug me from behind and rest your chin on my shoulder but don't start trying to get me to make out with you when I'm just trying to talk with my bros. Oh yea and there's the "other" kind of clinginess where you call/text me at every time of day to find out where I am, what I'm doing, who I'm with, and when I'm coming back. I'm totally fine with a once/twice a day hey how are you, you wanna hang out today, but I've had girls do that every hour and it makes me want to get away from them fast. You're not my mother. Wow that rant turned into a lot longer than I thought, apologies =p
Some attention is good but too much is awful and a turn off. I am a pretty independent guy so it just ends up annoying me if it is done at the wrong times. Girls do it to show off the guy they have. I notice when attractive girls are in the area the girls I have dated start getting really close.
im not really into hanging onto my boyfriend..if I want to hug him or kiss him or b near him when he's talking to his friends ill come up behind and hug him from behind and kiss him then leave because everyone likes their space I mean I had a boyfriend who would not let go of me and would alwaysn I was hanging with my friends and it sorta p*ssed me off because I couldn't really move because he had a hold of me
a lot of people do this for the first couple months.. my boyfriend was borderline crazy for our first year. But meh, I've read that you do technically go insane when you fall in love.. it should wear off after a while.

if I like the girl I like it.. otherwise its completely repulsive gives them no chance for me and I completely reject them. and it sounds like she's trying to do it to make you jealous all I say is laugh at her next time cause chances are he's repulsed by her and her advances and you have better hope than she will ever
I never liked clingy girls before until I met the girl I got now. I know I really really care for her really bad. I think I love her, but I'm not sure yet. I actually like it when she is clingy. I mean I don't want her constantly around me and all over me when I'm talking with friends, but if it is just me and her then I really like it. I like it when she text me all the time.
Like someone else said I want her to make me an important part of her, but not her life.
I bet she does all kindsa things in bed to make him keep her. Otherwise he would probably dump her desperate ass. I personally couldn't stand a girlfriend posting hundreds of messages on my facebook, or texting me every two seconds, and always hugging kissing etc in public, its cheesy and fake
Clingy girls? Yes. I'd say I do. I don't know why. Call me crazy. I appriciate it. I guess to me it shows me she gives a rip. Which after being cheated on numerous times I require.

OMG I hate them. I know some of them like they just literally hang off of their guy while the guy is not looking anywhere at her and trying to ignore her. I don't like it at all, its kind of creepy.
I don't mind it.
Makes me feel desired.
Plus, I'm a bit negligent and hard to keep track of, so if she's not clingy, we'll never see eachother.
