Do guys like clingy girls?

I asked my crush if I was being clingy since I was always texting him first and he said “you are”. I thought it was bad so I apologized and he said “sorry for what, I love clingy girls”. and now I’m just confused as heck to what this means. Does it mean he likes me?

Usually, guys do not, they like their alone time or to not be bothered constantly... That was just my experience and answers from many other men, but some guys do actually like clingy guys. I think some guys like clingy girls because it makes them feel needed or loved.

I think he does like you if he said that. That could be his way of flirting or letting you know that he doesn't mind when you are always texting first.
