Should I start working out?

I'd been working out for a period of approximately 2 years till I turned 17 and was told to quit by my doctor due to growth related issues. My "workout" was not really effective. I agreed with him that working out doesn't make much sense when body proportions are still changing and most of one's caloric intake is needed for growth of bones and that muscles will grow naturally anyway.
I've also been doing archery since I was 13 years old, which I found has contributed a lot to the muscles I have at the moment, yet had to quit with this too due to said growth issue ( I grew much from 16 to 19 and I think I will maybe grow one more inch but this should be the end).

So, judging by my picture, should I start to work out again?

I want to stay lean but would like to be able to pull back 70 lbs on a so called "compound bow", which requires much more strength than pulling this weight back on an English longbow.

And girls, what do you think of my physique?
Should I start working out?
