What is this thing on my neck?

I woke up on Tuesday and i had this pain on the left side of my neck, as if i slept wrong,.. but yesterday i saw this bump.. its a red hard bumb not a zit or anything.. and when i touch it its that same pain on my neck.
What is it?

Tough to say without seeing it. Is it an external thing? Could be a spider/insect bite most likely. You could also have a swollen lymph node, but that you'd need a doctor to tell you about for sure. A bug bite would be my blind guess.

Is it your head? When you poke it and it hurts are you able to see your finger incredibly close up? If yes then it's definitely your head and you're poking yourself in the eye.
