Why am I ALWAYS warm?

No matter what time of the year it is, I'm always warm. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm 18. Right now it's winter, and people normally have their heaters on, but at my mom's house I always have all the windows open and a fan on me. At my dad's house I suffer cause he's older with diabetes and more sensitive to the cold and he has the heaters on constantly. He and my brother say the temperature is perfect but I'm always dying of heat.

In the summer I sit in front of our A/C but the lowest it goes is 62 F, and it's not good enough for me! I feel more comfortable in 45-50 F weather.

I talked to my doctor and she said there's nothing to be done and that I just have to deal with it. I don't eat spicy food cause it makes me sick, so it can't be that.

Anyone have any tips on how to stay cool? Especially when I'm with my dad? I'm dying >.<

How much do you weigh? People who are heavier tend to be warmer. If you're not heavier then I'm not sure what it is.

I do know that when I lost weight I suddenly found myself to be cold all the time lol

If it's really interfering with your day-to-day activities you should consult your doctor.

I am a bit heavier, but my mother is way bigger than I am, and she's cold when I'm dying of heat ;-;

I have tried talking to my doctor but all she says is that there's nothing to be done and to "deal with it"... I am trying to lose weight so hopefully I'll have the same effect as you XD

Eating spicy food actually helps you deal with the heat.

Try drinking a cup of very hot coffee, then hand scrubbing the floor. You won't feel the heat as much afterwards.

Do you weigh more?

I usually find that most women that complain about temperatures tend find be the opposite of you. They always think it's cold. Their hands are always freezing cold outside of anything other than summer. Of course most of those types are like 5' and 100 pounds.

Yeah I'm over average, but not by a lot. My mother is larger than me, and she's always cold when I'm dying of heat. I always thought my weight would be a factor but my parents told me I've been warmer than others since I was young. But no one knows why, and my doctor hasn't mentioned my weight about it before either..

Well, I guess our average weather all year (besides summer) is about 60F, and even that's a little warm for me. In the summer it gets up to 105F.

Are you capable of sweating?

Yeah, I don't sweat a lot though unless I'm exercising. If I'm just hot then my forehead gets a little damp but that's it.
