Is it weird to be one of those people would rather be chubbier than skinny, and who doesn't mind being on the bigger side of her heights weight range?

I'm on the phone right now as we speak with my vegetarian health nut/gym rat of a father who calls to check up on my brother and I since he lives in another state with his step wife, and the topic today is my weight/health since he has heard about my cholesterol spike, and how much I weigh compared to most other people my height. I'm 5'1" and 128 lbs., the healthy weight range for my height is 98-132 lbs. He says I should try to drop 20-25 lbs., and I said no I don't want to be that skinny again because I hated how I looked, nor do I want to be one of those creepy looking muscular chicks. My dad's all like "you should do it for your health" and "you'll look better and feel happier blah blah blah", and I said, "If I didn't like how I looked when I use to be that size, what makes you think I'd be happy being in that area again?" I honestly like weighing a little more, but unfortunately he's one of those parents who actually cares about their offsprings health 'n' shit like that. I know he's right about me needs to eat healthier 'n' shate to lower my cholesterol, but I don't want to get smaller, or muscular. I like how I am now tbh. I told him I'd try to make it to 118-120 if he'd get off of my back about it, and I know I should lower my shate just a little bit. Anyway, why is it so bad to like being a little chubby? What's so weird about it? I don't cheat, I don't steal, and I try not to hurt anyone unless they deserve it, and I'm not obese either. So why can't I just be chubby and eat what I want in peace?

I'm shaped like the woman in the middle, but I'm 1 inch shorter than the first chick. This is to only help give you a visual.
