When it comes to making a big change in your life like diet and exercise you can’t just immediately do it all at once. It sound like with your diet you are really strict on yourself then relapse, going back and forth like that. It is okay to have snacks from time to time, if you don’t give yourself little treats every ounce in a while you are bound to go pig out again at some point. What are your big indulgences? Try to cut back on them slowly. Drink a lot of soda? Try to cut back to one can a day. Cheese? Start getting the lower fat crap. Coffee? Mix the sugar and cream in yourself rather than the massive amounts they do at Starbucks.
When it comes to exercise start out small, go for a walk once a day. Hell, get a dog so you have more reason to go out for a walk. Keep a chart too, don’t check your weight every day, that will only make you more depressed. Once a week at the most so you can see your progress. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t go down over a week, it is not that big a deal. The important thing is to stick to it, and be nice to yourself while you do it. Reward yourself for doing well. Not necessarily with food because you will likely over indulge. Make a goal for the first month (something easy to reach) and go shopping once you reach it. It is totally possible to do it. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months a while ago but I stared in decent shape when I did it. I just had a lot of fluff.

yes. As long as you aren't losing more than 3-4 pounds a week. The weight you should lose a week will go down as you get closer to your goal. Eat every day. Hydrate. Diets fail often. Instead you should focus on a healthy lifestyle. The difference is that you aren't starving all day every day. You are only cutting out 300-500 calories from your metabolic rate.
Of course you will. With persistence and commitment.
Good luck!
