Ive been with my girl for nine yrs. and today she tells me she wants to seperate. I know its my fault because I still live at home, am 24 years old, and am working a dead end job. I'm willing to get my crap in a pile but don't know how to by the time to show her. Can someone help?

I tried to break up with my boyfriend, a month ago. My reason was I couldn't stand his Anger issue. I love him very much. I didn't want to break up with him. I've known him for 3 years. But I couldn't picture my life happy with someone who couldn't control their anger. I was afraid, of having a family with him, children, a future. So I told him I couldn't be with him because of that.
He thought about it, and that night, he came over, and told me he was going to get help for it. He said he would go to anger management classes, or see a psychiatrist. I didn't believe him. So he made phone calls, and set an appointment with mental health. He asked me to not give up on him. I love him, so I gave him that chance to prove to me he truly wanted to change. And that he was going to do something about it.
He is now seeing a shrink 3 times a week. And I am here, supporting him all the way.
He didn't do anything at the moment (the night we talked), but he promised me, and as soon as he got the chance, he set an appointment. It is a slow, very slow, process, but the fact that he did something small leading towards it, made me stay.
you need to get your life in order for YOU and no one else. there is not a guarantee that even if you do fix it that she will stay, even if she does, is it only because she wanted to change you? you need to do it for you and if she stays great, if not, you will eventually be fine with that too
Move on with your life. Get a better job, a place to live.
You are offering her nothing. NOTHING!
Be a man.
You want to know a great job that pays lots of money.
A Registered Nurse. No kidding.
Good money, Health Bennie.
But, MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE!
