Definitely you should focus on yourself.
1) Accept the pain & move on. You're not alone. We all had bad experiences, and that's the way we learn :)
2) Acknowledge that it was better for you both to break-up. There must be a good reason.
3) Keep yourself busy on work, school, fun classes, volunteer work, sports, music, etc..so as to occupy your mind with constructive things rather than the negative thoughts you might have.
