Um. The silliest thing I've ever been dumped for (I always seem to get dumped, lol) is that I didn't ask my boyfriend to Sadies because I had to go help a family friend out. Turns out that guy was a real jerk too...
Anyway, being dumped because you're getting braces is harsh. I mean, it's not like she's changing herself entirely, it's just a bunch of wires in her mouth to help straighten her teeth. So don't worry about being overprotective, this kid who dumped your sister's and idiot.
