I am a VERY open minded girl. Do guys like that?

I like many types of music. Anywhere from oldies (Aretha Franklin), to Merengue (Elvis Crespo), to death metal (Possessed). I love trying new things, learning about different religions, cultures, foods, etc. I am not your "stereotypical" black girl. With that being said, I always seem to get looked over. Like, I don't belong in any group therefore I am not worthy of attention. Am I being crazy? Do guys like open-minded girls? What is your opinion?

Yes many do. I mean guys still have their preferences and others can care less, but having things in common is always a good thing.

And trust me I wouldn't really say I belong in a group either that I have many qualities that go against stereotypes. I'm just kind of shocked that you could say that people don't think you're worthy of their time. I easily get along with everyone and fit into many groups because of the fact that I'm this way. And as for guys they tend to like this quality about me or like me for other reasons.

It's good to be open minded. I'm the same. It shows you have a humility about you, and that you are open and willing to learn new things. As opposed to think you " know it all" people who are open minded are interesting to talk too, because they are able to talk about various topics. It's a great quality to have

Most guys probably would, being open-minded is a great thing. The only ones who might not are guys who are very closed-minded. But you probably wouldn't want to be with someone like that anyway =)

For me, I love trying all sorts of stuff, but I have
a downside to it as well, in the fact, that I get easily
bored if it doesn't provide excitement, or new things
to learn. ^.^
