I been talking to this guy I been dating online for almost a month and next week is when I go see him. I really like him but he has been showing some minor signs of him wanting sex, but not In a constant way or just plain sexual. I never had sex on the first night with anybody but the way guys acting now I really do not want to waste my time. Wasted time is something that you don't get back. I only wanna have sex just to see is it more than sex that he wants or just sex period. He told me he's gonna prove it that he doesn't want me for just sex. I'm not labeling him as every other guy but even if you waited months to have sex with someone, what if you wasted your time? he said he would not see me different but I didn't tell him I wanted sex on the first night but now a days you can't tell what a guy wants from you until its after you laid down with him. Am I wrong for trying to prevent wasted time? I just wanna save myself from waiting months, then having sex, and he ups and leave. It use to be right to wait a month or two for sex but after sex regardless of how long you waited guys still will act differently. I never had sex on the first night ever. a proportion of guys these days waste your time when you could have already been gone.

Just try not to overthink it. Society will have your head spinning on this topic. All you can do is go with how YOU feel. Are you having a great time with him and it just feels natural to sleep together? Would you be okay sleeping with him if he left afterwards? If yes to both of those them go ahead and enjoy yourself! You don’t need to worry about the rest of the noise. I’ve never slept with anyone on the first date until recently, and we’re still seeing each other 2 months later.

I should probably mention that we did get to know each other for a good while before the first date though. It wasn’t a random thing - I’m not advocating that, be as smart and safe as possible.

I've had sex on the first night, I didn't regret it but I wish I would've waited. I was just really really in the mood. The sex was good though, we had sex plenty of times.

Yes, I've had sex on the first date. We ended up being friends-with-benefits and are still on good terms now. I was graduating soon from college and the benefits of companionship eased the stress of crunch time. We had sex basically every night we were together, but we also just spent time together and hanged out a lot. It was sort of like a relationship, but not explicitly stated as such.

All in all, it worked out well.

You're going from one extreme to another. You don't have to do it right away but if you don't want to waste time you can do it on the second or third date if you want.

HOWEVER! I have had very good results from doing it on the second date! Very good indeed.
