Oh.. Well I'm a pretty tall girl.. I'm 173 cms in height.. And I'm afraid I wouldn't date u :/ Even if I did find u good looking & all, height would be always keeping me back. And trust me, as a couple we would have some issues.. U know, when we'd be walking near each other in public.. Or, like... At sex :p I mean, I would feel kinda huge compared to u. I also want my guy to be able to carry me, dunno why I'm so obsessed with that XD But yeah, u got the idea.
it's a no no. i may sound like a douche but i would suggest dating someone taller than yourself.
think about who will be carrying who during the wedding and also dating shorter guys kind of give the lady a limit to her wardrobe of shoes i mean u don't want to wear kill heels next to your shorter boyfriend u would make him look like a dwarf and a girl can't live without her heels.

I never had a problem or insecurities about height so its not something I notice, judge or look for in other people
I wouldn't even give a second thought about a guy (or a girl's) height if I were to get to know them as another human being
but dating is different. you have to be physically attracted to them and I'm not sure about ALL girls being thinking like this, but there is something about being a girl and being attracted to a man who can hold you in their arms
I mean it's not a preference of mine. I'm 6ft so if you are shorter than like... 5'9 it's a little to small for me hahaha. but I've liked a guy a lot who was... 5'7 but he was extremely confident and very gentlemenly.. had the purest heart and intentions so it really depends on the connection you have with a person
I'm 5'10"... Generally I prefer people around my height just because they'd be easier to kiss and stuff... But I don't care that much.
I'd say a guy or girl who's 5'1". As long as they don't have a baby face. I can't date someone who's short and has a baby face... They look like they're 10 and that's not attractive!
So as long as he looks like an adult I don't care how tall he is.
Listen, there are heaps of petite women who will be perfect for you too. Don't be disheartened by your height and have confidence. Provide so much that women can't overlook you in terms of personality, charisma and career.
I would go for it... but I'm 5'2 so that might be why i wouldn't see it as awkward.
Still, why does it always have to be that the guy is taller than the girl? It's ok that you're 5'1. If you're everything I want in a partner, then heck yeah.
I'm 5'10. My ex was a head shorter than me. I didn't like it at all. Didn't broke up because of that reason by the way.
But height wouldn't stop me from making friends with someone who is way shorter than me.
I'm 4'11 , so of course short guys aren't anyone I wouldn't date , as long as they're not shorter then I am but I doubt they would be if they're older then 11-12 lol. Of course I'd be his friend if I enjoy his company, a persons height doesn't mean they won't have any friends.
I'm not one who has ever been into tall guys. I'm 5'4' and went out with a guy who was 5'2" but he was confident, strong, and kind. His height never hit my radar.

I am 5'3 and I am married, my husband is 5'9 so you can say that height is a factor but it isn't everything
