We are both quiet, is that a big problem?

There's this guy. He's kind of quiet and I'm kind of quiet. Is that a big problem? Will anything happen? I know you can have a quiet guy or a quiet girl but what about both? Does it work?

Sure why not ? Me and my boyfriend are both quite, its something that you both have in common. yet sometimes you can take the intiavtive you feeel him being shy, and when you are too quite he can take the step, so you complete each other .

Ya, but he has a lot of trouble talking to me when I try to talk to him to break the ice. I'm trying... it's seeming hopeless =( I think he likes me and I know he's nervous but what can I do?

I think its the best match as you can understand each other. You should worry if one of you was talkative and the other silent. Men talk less than women, I'm also a quiet person. You are a rare breed!

Why should you worry if one was talkative and one quiet, wouldn't you think the talkative one would get the quiet one to open up?

I meant to say that its a thing related to tolerance. If a talkative person doesn't like the nontalkative person, than that's an issue. But its possible also for the talkative person to make an effort if he or she really likes the other person like you say.

It's not that easy. I try to talk to him (someone has to talk first) but he doesn't talk back... he's nervous but how can I get him to talk?
