My girlfriend is having nightmares?

So my girlfriend has been having nightmares these past few nights. She woke me up one night because it had scared her. How do I comfort her and make her know I will protect her and that she'll be okay?

A good spoon cuddle enclosing me always makes me feel better when I have nightmares. It's something about those strong manly arms wrapped around me that always makes me feel safe and protected by my guy.

After nightmares or whenever you want, Hhg her tight, kiss her, caress her face etc. Just show her that no matter what happens, you'll always be there for her :)

Tell her that it's okay ,and wrap your arms around her to make her feel safe

You can't, really. Nightmares aren't coming from a rational place. So you can't reason her out of them.

All you can do is help calm her down if and when she wakes up from them.

Don't let her eat before bed...or watch scary movies. Jump on top of her...and yell I got ya baby! Its okay! just kidding. Comfort her by doing what comes natural.
