Guys, how do you treat a friend and a crush differently?

Guys, when you see a girl as one of the guys, and when you like a girl, what do you do differently around them? What do you do to show you're comfortable around them/trust them? It kind of seems to me like the line kind of gets blurred and it's hard to tell.

I have a simple test for these kinds of situations; and it works from both male and female perspectives. The one thing a friend of the opposite gender, who is interested in you, will never do is discuss another romantic interest with or around you. If he asks you advice about another girl, or shares details of a current relationship he has with another girl, regardless of how serious it is, he sees you as a friend. If you are otherwise close but don't talk about your respective love lives, it usually means there's at least some interest. If there wasn't, there would be no reason for relationship talk to be taboo, especially since opposite gender friends can typically offer some useful insights.

eh, he's never mentioned any girls, but he might not have any girls he's interested in right now because he's so busy with school he doesn't have time for a relationship. but when I mentioned my ex twice, only to reference one of my ex's friends, he didn't say anything, he seemed a little uncomfortable actually.

Even if he's busy, guys usually keep an eye open for girls they might like. Girlfriends (the platonic kind) are really great for meeting other girls, they always have friends they want to set you up with, and have advice and so forth. Basically, the female wingman is great resource for a guy, if he's not treating you as one, it probably means he likes you. And nobody likes to hear about some one's ex when they like the person, so 'uncomfortable' about right. No reaction would mean no interest.

if I start to like someone I just met, I might be a little more conservative but I'll smile more and talk to her as much I can. there is more eye contact. after a while I can loosen up with her if she hint's that she's okay with it. the line my be blurred a little but I guess you might be able to tell with me if I make more of an effort to talk to them when they're around. the touching can vary. but if anything its all about the eye contact. when I'm talking to a girl who's just a friend, I see their whole face. but if I like them I usually can't help but look into their eyes a lot.

Pretty much anything with notable physical touch means the guy's into you. Or if he gets super quiet around you it means he's got a thing for you but he's shy

what if you place your arms next to his so they're touching (albeit very lightly) but he doesn't move it? he lets it stay there?
