Mick Jagger's Having Another Baby at 72 Years Old: Right or Wrong?

So, I am assuming that everyone here has heard the recent story that is making headlines with Mick Jagger.

The 72 year-old man that goes by the stage name "Mick Jagger," and was formerly part of the Rolling Stones, was in entertainment headlines. Just recently, news was released that a 29 year-old female is pregnant with Mick Jaggers 8th child.

I mean, I know that some people think that age is just a number. Honestly, I think that it's weird that the lady that he physically had intercourse with Mick could be the same age as some of his children. I think in my opinion that it is slightly gross to think about.

Here the news first breaks and pops up in my MSN newsfeed yesterday morning. This morning it was posted what he had to say about it.

Mick Jagger stated that he was shocked by the news that he is to be a father again, and to add to that confusion... He is not even dating the women responsible of carrying his eighth child. An insider said that ''It's a very casual relationship, they see each other now and again and really enjoy each other's company," but in my opinion if it was casual, how is there a baby?

A good thing to hear, is that Mick Jagger is going to support this mother and the baby! There is even talk of him buying a house for the mother and child. He is going to look after the baby 10 times over, which is a brilliant gesture to make sure that the paparazzi doesn't get in his face.

It is strange to think that a 72 year-old man got a 29 year-old girl pregnant, but in the long run he's going to take care of them so it doesn't matter that she's only 29.

Hopefully his other children (Who are grown-up) will be as accepting of this baby as Mick is being, so that they can help out when needed. As a result of this news breaking, it bears one question. Why? Maybe the pregnancy happened by accident. Maybe the condom broke or something, but why do older men have sex with such young women?

It's all a question, but who's to decide what choices they make in life.. not me. So I'll just back off and let you decide your stance on this topic.

That is the first I have heard of it. Guess it doesn't rate enough to even get on MSN. com. But not being a big music person, and certainly not a Rolling Stones fan, I don't pay much attention to it.
The only plus is that he has so much money, the kid will be well taken care of. I find it funny that he says "if it is causal, why is there a baby?"... she is 29... the only reason she is with him is to try and have a baby so she never has to work again in her life. Now she has that.
When my 3rd son was 1 month away from being born, I had the ole Snip Snip done. Best decision I ever made. I knew that I never ever wanted another child. I love the 3 boys I have, but I don't want a 4th. Now that I am divorced, it comes into play even more. I have been able to enjoy sex without the worries of pregnancy.

The answer to your question is because young women are attractive and alluring and it makes him feel young again.

The answer to my question is women are nuts! just kidding... I think the real answer is: the older man may be more self confident, established, socially accepted, wealthy, etc... the things she is drawn to. but I'd rather her females answer.

Older guys want to have sex with younger girls because it boosts their ego to think that a younger girl would be that attracted to them. In many cases, of course, the younger girl is only attracted to the older guy's money.

Obviously, they were not taking precautions and that is the reprehensible part of this story. We don't know how long Mick Jagger might live, but he will not be around to take care of this child for much of its life. Every child should have a mother and a father not just in their childhood but also in the early and middle years of adulthood.

Well my dad had me when he was really old, like some of my friends grandparents were his age and some of my brothers were my friends parents ages or older. But he's extremely fit and healthy, much more so than people half his age. Like my dad took me on frequent bike rides, to far places. He took me to the park all the time. All my friends dads were always too tired, and half his age. He can still run up stairs and not get out of breath or struggle and so many people even in their 20s can't do that.

So, it depends on the man. Some men can manage being an old parent. Some men can't manage being a young parent.

He is going to die before his child reaches 18 years old.

Menopause means a girl is not fertile anymore/not passing the egg. It usually happens between 45 and 55 years of age, that's why i said its practically impossible for girls to get pregnant at 60

Whether you are 50 year old Halle Berry or 72 year old Mick Jagger, it doesn't really matter...--->IF<----... you are rich. In all honesty, the age thing doesn't actually matter except when it comes to health, as in if you're a healthy person, do as you do, but ones parents can die at any age. My friend's dad had a heart attack and died when she was 10. Yes it's great to have both parents and all but not everyone at any age, has that luxury, but where the money part comes in is, even if Jagger won't live to see the kid turn 20 or 25, that kid will be taken care of. Best nanny, best doctors, best schools, tuition paid for, any and everything they need. Yes, money isn't everything, but again, you can counter with, still, rich or not, not everyone grows up with two parents, so it's not impossible to have a normal life and to turn out alright, money or not, with one parent or even no biological parent still living.

Rolling stones are still a band as far as I know.. They are in good shape, they still perform for hours on stage. The age gap is big, and they are not married and Jagger has other children too. If that woman is a fan of his, then she's fulfilled her dream, of being together with a legendary rock star. It's also good that she decided to keep the child

I don't see anything wrong with it. If I survive to see 72, I hope I can bed 29 year olds. I doubt that I'll have Mick's money or status, though, so I don't see that happening without me renting them by the hour. I'm OK with renting, so it's all good.

No women since the 80's have been having babies in their 60's If they get their period its just taboo but most likely won't be for too long since women are waiting longer to have babies. either way they can still do invitro. and men can't naturally get it up in their 50's let alone 60's so i dont know how you would be bustin a nut with a limp penis

I think as a man gets older his sperm starts to degrade and that means there is an increased probability of the child having special needs. I think there was a problem in pre 1960's Ireland on the west coast where a lot of men in their 50's+ were marrying very young girls and their offspring were born with down syndrome. For years they couldn't understand why and thought it must be the girls but really it was that the men were too old.

Okay, okay. I get what you're trying to say. By some standards there needs to be a moral sense in the woman. They don't have a say in anything, but paparazzi and such who do reports on these such people already do this! They make people think that they have a say in what goes on in celebrities lives. And I get it, it's not right. I was just asking a simple question, I wasn't making people define whether he should reproduce or not. The child isn't going to a have a dad for a super long time, and honestly I think that's sad. But there is no shame in it. As I said in myTake it doesn't matter that she is 29, they are going to take care of the baby! So honestly, I don't see where the problem lies at this point. Thank you for your opinion! :)
