If you want a divorce but young kids are involved, is it better to get it over with quick, wait until they are older or just stay married forever? (Page 4)
Compromise and being ok with space from each other. We love each other, but we live and work together so we know we need time away from each other too and have a life outside of each other.
My dad expects everything to be his way and for the women around him to serve him. He doesn't compromise and everything is expected to work around his schedule.
Teach him how to fend on his own and be an adult. If I had married someone like that, and he couldn't figure out how to be a responsible adult, I would have left him long ago.
tbh i find B the best compromise. once you have children they really need to be the center of your world and considered. But if you're worried about the one ruining the family then simply take measures to not have that guilt on your hands. If your spouse is treating you like crap and you're a woman you can easily make that marriage so dry he'll be begging to fix it or he'll be the one to ruin it and have it on him. For me honestly I could never just walk out of a marriage unless she cheated or tried to kill me or harm the kids. That's it though. But im not about to tell a someone else what to do. Just consider your children's mental wellbeing and where they are in life atm. It's better to wait till your youngest has completed high school imho

Curious… do you and your wife have children?
Yes, but this isn't about my marriage. It is about marriage/divorce in general and inspired by my parents marriage.
I am glad to hear ;)
What do you think is the secret to a successful marriage?
Compromise and being ok with space from each other. We love each other, but we live and work together so we know we need time away from each other too and have a life outside of each other.
Beautiful 😍…
Sounds simple?
So why went wrong with your parents and many others?
My dad expects everything to be his way and for the women around him to serve him. He doesn't compromise and everything is expected to work around his schedule.
In such case… what’s the best way to handle a man child?
Teach him how to fend on his own and be an adult. If I had married someone like that, and he couldn't figure out how to be a responsible adult, I would have left him long ago.
There is no good answer. The kids always get hurt.
