My ex and I broke up recently, and I KNOW I shouldn't be stalking him on social media. I promise I've only done it like 3 times since...

Anyways, I've noticed he's suddenly following a LOT of girls - way more than he did when he first met me. He's obviously moving to a lot of girls now.

I broke up with him and I'm wondering if he's doing this as a rebound?

I care because I would give him a second chance if he decided to change and come back into my life. Ultimately, I broke up with him because he didn't respect me in the way that he should have.

Girls do that too. Whenever something went bad in a relationship or with a crush in the past, I used to install badoo or any other app, not necessarily to date... but to remember that there are many other guys out there and it wasn't the end of the world.

If you are friends with him on social media or his pages are public then you aren't stalking or doing anything wrong.

But I am guessing he is long gone and has moved on from you by now. Even if he has not unless you tell him you would give him a chance. He won't come back on his own.

Even if you did. He might just laugh you off at this point.

I have met women who "broke up" with their guy not thinking he would go far and... would beg for another chance who quickly found a new person and later on a serious relationship.

Look, I don't know your reasons for breaking up it seems not meant to be so just let him go. If you had good reason to break up (I don't know the reason) if he was cheating or something like that then just let him go.

If he is abusive or a bad person. Just let him go.

If there is just something about him that you don't like. Then stop trying to change someone and force them into being someone they are not. Let him find someone who accepts him for him and you can find someone who meets your standards.

You should know if someone meets your standards before you get together so you aren't trying to change him into someone else.

But none of my business. If you really want him back then talk to him about it otherwise maybe he will come back and ask you but I am guessing a lost cause just be looking for someone new

I blocked him after breaking up with him. You’re right and the issue here was him trying to change me and control me. I had no choice but to leave. I miss him a lot and if he was willing to see that he’s wrong and make a change I would go back. Unfortunately he’s very stubborn and an overall angry person. But I still liked him for some reason... I see what you mean. But if you're trying to change each other and he was controlling I get that you miss him. Trust me I do. But you have let him go and I think once you blocked him he got the hint that you don't want him anymore.

Even if he does come back just be strong and tell him NO. That you can forgive him but that you don't have to let him back into your life to abuse you again. Even if the abuse was not physical.

That isn't to say that he is a bad person and there is not someone out there for him. You did the right thing and you made the right choice. It as you said was the only choice that you had or be miserable and end up hating him.

I suggest that you cry it out and be dating some other people and you will move on. if he does come back you could give him another chance but I am sure that he will also move on at some point. Breakups suck. You might even always miss him in some way or another.

But you have to keep in mind before you go back to him and beg him to come back. That he is angry and stubborn.

Depends how long he's felt disconnected with you. Usually 3 months is about what it takes to get over any attatchment.

I know you were not replying to me. You say he was too much to put up with. I don't know what he was doing. But I think you are doing you both a favor. He really isn't your type and he isn't with someone who he can be himself around.

Now if he is a bad person or something that is another story or if he cheated. Just sometimes there isn't anything wrong with either one of you... It was just not meant to be.

Sometimes relationships that end teach us something and make us a better person for when we meet the one. Leave him be he will work things out and so will you
