My ex and I recently broke up as they said they lost feelings/spark in the relationship, and after a month of NC they messaged me saying they miss our talks and chats. After that we've been messaging frequently everyday, and they seem genuinely engaged in our conversations, which was something that fell off towards the end of the relationship. They've also questioned 2-3 times whether I like this other person who has recently come into my life, when I know they know I have feelings that remain for them, but they seem to act unaware of this. We were close friends beforehand for a while, so they might just miss the friendship. Thoughts?
