To sum it up there is a movement on the right to completely get rid of no-fault divorce. Many are saying that doing so is an attack on women as it prevents them from getting out of abusive relationships.
Personally I see it a different way. The marriage rate is lowering partly because you see a lot of men not seeing the point in it anymore, if no-fault divorce gets revoked, then what you're gonna see is more and more women avoiding marriage completely too.
My belief is that if you truly love someone marriage will never leave your lips as at its core its little more then a glorified contract that you sign to get extra tax benefits from the government.
If no fault divorce gets sacked, we're gonna find out who gets married for love vs who gets married for wealth.

I mean honestly why does it matter for if people get married for wealth or love? Two people are together for financial benefits, that’s not my issue.
That's fine if its mutually beneficial as opposed to one person just being a leech.
@asker if a person is presenting money in exchange for love, then that person is kind of at fault as well
I don't really care either way to be honest. If someone marries a loser, that's their problem and their fault and whatever consequences they go through as a result of that is probably what they deserve.
Well don't you just have ice running through your veins...
Thanks
